Myleene Klass reveals emotional story behind Kate Garraway’s son's birthday party

Kate Garraway has revealed that her sick husband Derek Draper, appeared “focused and engaged” as the nurse put on Good Morning for him to watch on Monday. Mum-of-two Kate, 53, appeared alongside presenter Ben Shepherd to share an update on how her husband Derek, 52, was doing in hospital.

Kate Garraway has opened up on her son Billy’s bittersweet birthday celebrations this weekend as the family continue to wait for her husband Derek to return from hospital.The Good Morning Britain star has been updating fans regularly as Derek continues to recover in hospital after contracting coronavirus earlier this year. While Derek is now Covid-free and has woken up from being in a coma, he remains in intensive care in hospital.
