'My husband ghosted me after £26,000 wedding - and he maxed out all my credit cards'

A woman revealed her new husband "ghosted" her after he received a visa following their lavish wedding. Isabelle Glastonbury, 32, met her American lover in 2015 while living in the States.
But after the loved-up pair got engaged, they decided to move to her native Australia in 2018. It was there they had a $50,000 AUD (£26,000) wedding to celebrate their love.
Isabelle's husband, 30, was going through the immigration process to allow him to live permanently in Oz after their big day. And when his visa was approved after more than two years in January 2021, the couple went out to celebrate with a romantic dinner, The Mirror reports.
But their love story took an unexpected turn almost immediately. Isabelle claims she returned home that night to find almost all of her hubby's belongings had disappeared, along with the man himself.
She tried to log into their online immigration account, but couldn't get in. Then she checked her bank accounts and realised the man she was ready to spend her life with had maxed out all of her credit cards.
He blocked her from his phone, so none of her calls or messages got through, and he also ghosted all their friends, with no one able to give Isabelle any information about where he might be.
She told Daily Mail Australia in June 2023: “All of our mutual friends, the best man from our wedding and his own family, no one knew where he was."
It was Isabelle's family who had paid $10,000 (£5,200) for his visa application, leaving them out of pocket too. And when the distraught wife went to immigration authorities and reported him, she claims little was done to help.
Reflecting on the final months of the relationship, Isabelle said her husband had been more "distant", sometimes "disappearing at night" and
