Lisa Kennedy Jo Koy can be hilarious, riotously so at times. He has no trouble filling auditoriums with his spot-on standup act. Much of what makes him so funny are his observations about his Filipino American family: his aunts, his uncles, his cousins, his sisters and, most of all, his mom.

Now, it appears that Scorsese’s relationship with Apple and “Flower Moon” writer David Grann may just be getting started.

Leonardo DiCaprio is attached to star in an adaptation of David Grann’s book The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder from director Martin Scorsese that has been set up at Apple, Deadline can confirm. The project follows the pair’s collaboration on Apple’s Killers of the Flower Moon, which is likewise based on a non-fiction book by Grann.

Clayton Davis Apple’s hughly anticipated “Killers of the Flower Moon” from Martin Scorsese won’t be coming this Oscar season. The Western drama, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jesse Plemons, will instead be released in its originally intended 2023 calendar year.Written by Eric Roth and adapted from the best-selling novel “Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI” by David Grann, the film had been originally slated for 2023 by Apple.
