The mum of tragic tot Star Hobson is said to have been left 'devastated' after her sentence was increased to 12 years.
Frankie Smith had originally been jailed for eight years for causing or allowing the death of the 16-month-old.
However, Court of Appeal judges changed it after her original sentence was described as being "too soft".
After being told the news, Smith was put on suicide watch at New Hall prison in West Yorkshire, the Daily Star reports.

The source added: “Her cell is covered in photos of Star and she has items from her short life like bits of clothes and the odd toy.
