Tributes have been paid to a 'beautiful' mum who was found dead inside a house in Merseyside over the weekend.
The woman, in her 30s, was named locally as Kimberlie Donoghue, after she was found dead in a property on Roughwood Drive in Kirkby at around 5.20pm on Sunday, January 21. Merseyside Police said the woman's death is being treated as unexplained and her next of kin have been informed, reports the Liverpool Echo.
In an update on Monday (January 22), police said a 23-year-old man, from Kirkby, was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to a police station for questioning. Kimberlie was described as the "most caring girl" in tributes from her loved ones.

In a post on Facebook, one friend said: "I can't believe what has happened in the last 24 hours it's absolutely heartbreaking. We had some great times growing up. Absolutely awful. Kimberlie Donoghue thinking of all the family x."
Another wrote: "Can’t believe what’s happened! You were the purest, most caring girl I’ve ever known. You were always there for others before yourself and as a mum you were one of a kind. Rest in peace angel and you will never leave anyone’s mind who had the pleasure of knowing you as a person."
A third wrote: "How can this world be so cruel? You were one of a kind Kimberlie Donoghue. The one who got me up when I was down, the one to make any silent room loud. You were an amazing friend to everyone and I’ll never forget you. I love you so much."
A fourth said: "Rest in paradise Kimberlie Donoghue. Such a beautiful lady inside and out. Sending all my love to your family and your four babies. Life really is so unfair, feeling all kinds of emotions this morning.
