Mum, 42, shot dead in London as she 'tried to protect someone' named

A 42 year old woman who was tragically killed in a shooting in East London has been named. Residents claim Lianne Gordon was trying to protect someone in Vine Close, Hackney, when she was shot.
The shooting took place around 6.30pm on Tuesday (December 5), with neighbours reporting hearing "four or five gunshots". Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, but sadly, Lianne did not survive.
Two other people, a young man of 20 and a boy of 16, were also injured in the attack and taken to hospital. The police have confirmed their injuries are not life-threatening, MyLondon reports.

Flowers and tributes have been left at the scene, with one message describing Lianne as "a beautiful soul" who has "gone too soon". No arrests have yet been made.
One neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed his fear following the incident. He said: "I heard gunshots. I think pretty much everyone heard them. Next thing I know, we looked out the window and everyone was outside screaming, saying someone had been shot."
"We heard the gunshots but we assumed it was fireworks. There was a lady shouting. After it happened, I do not feel safe. Especially living here be so close to it. You do not think it would happen so close to your house [...] It was very dark."
A neighbour named Mahr shared that Lianne was trying to protect someone during the incident. They said: "She was very nice lady very. We are devastated. She was trying to protect someone that what we heard. She was not the target."
The police have reportedly confirmed that they don't think the woman was the intended victim, and believe the shooter
