Mrs Brown’s Boys star Dermot ‘Bugsy’ O’Neill was rushed to hospital over the Christmas period.
His family have asked that people keep him in his prayers after he fell ill recently.
Despite leaving the show two years ago, the actor is best known for playing Grandad on the Irish comedy show.
After complaining about not feeling well, he was brought to hospital where he was put on feeding tubes by doctors.
