Police have shut down a Scots road amid an ongoing incident at a river near Loch Lomond. Officers were called to the scene at the A82 between Crianlarich and Ardlui at around 8.20pm this evening.The Scottish Sun reports that a Coastguard helicopter was deployed to the scene earlier but is no longer there.

Loch Lomond amid reports of 'concern for a person' in the water. Police, fire service and the Loch Lomond Rescue Boat raced to the shoreline at Balloch Country Park in West Dunbartonshire on Friday.

Balloch, with search and rescue teams racing to the area.The Coastguard Helicopter is also involved in the search along with boats from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Loch Lomond Rescue Boat.Fire service divers have also been seen near the pier at Balloch Castle Country Park.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police are working with emergency services partners following a report of a concern for a person in the water at Balloch Country Park.”More to follow
