Molly-Mae Hague’s favourite cup brand Stanley has offered to buy a woman a new car after her video about her old vehicle catching fire went viral. A TikTok user named Danielle uploaded a clip to the social media platform - apparently showing the aftermath of a blaze that burned out her car.
In the video, Danielle displayed the interior of her fire-ravaged vehicle - but with a Stanley cup in the car’s cup holder in pretty much pristine condition. She then shook the cup to reveal that the ice inside it had not melted - despite the blaze.
In the video, which has amassed more than 28 million views and 3 million likes, Danille said: "Everybody is so concerned if the Stanley spills but what else? It was in a fire yesterday and it still has ice in it." It was some of the best marketing that insulated bottle brand Stanley could have hoped for - and now the company’s president Terence Reilly has replied to say they will replace Danielle’s car for her. In a video uploaded to the brand’s TikTok account, he said: "We've all seen your video.
Wow what an ordeal, and we're all really glad you're safe." He added: "I've seen a lot of comments that we should send you some Stanleys. Well, we're gonna send you some Stanleys, but there's one more thing and we've never done this before and we'll probably never do it again, but we'd love to replace your vehicle… yeah all of us at Stanley we'd really like to replace your vehicle." Terence’s video also went viral too - receiving more than 5 million views.
Stanley has become a popular brand on social media recently.
The 1.18L ‘Quencher’ version of the tumbler sells for around £45. Molly-Mae Hague showed off her Stanley cup to fans with a social media post in September.
