Molly-Mae Hague's mum jokes she 'fancies' Tommy Fury and tells him 'you should be with me'

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed that her mum “always jokes that she fancies” the Love Island star's boyfriend Tommy Fury.The pair have been inseparable ever since coupling up on the 2019 series of the hit reality show, but Molly says her mother Debbie often jokes the professional boxer should be with her. Writing in her new autobiography, Becoming Molly-Mae, the 23 year old opens up about her family getting to know Tommy and why her mum, who is divorced from Molly's dad Stephen, “loved him from the get-go”. She says: “When I wasn’t working, Tommy met my family properly, including coming to my mum’s house for a curry.
“Mum loved him from the get-go – she always jokes that she fancies him: ‘Tommy, you know you should be with me instead of Molly, stop pretending.’ That’s just my mum’s sense of humour! He’s the dream guy to take home, so I knew that they were going to love him.” Molly-Mae's mum Debbie celebrated her engagement to Jon Rayner, while her daughter was on Love Island and the two wed on July 17, 2021.
Molly goes on to describe how “protective” 23 year old Tommy is of her.The couple have gone from strength to strength since leaving the famous villa in 2019. Earlier this year they purchased their “dream home” in Cheshire, a six-bedroom mansion worth £3.5 million. And influencer Molly got fans’ tongues wagging in April when she said she would “hopefully” be Mrs Fury “soon”.
