Molly-Mae Hague divides fans over 'weird' parenting step as she admits 'it's horrible'

Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about one of her parenting techniques as she's been teaching her daughter Bambi to 'self-settle' when tired. The Love Island star, 24, welcomed her first child in January 2023 with fiancé Tommy Fury, also 24, and has been documenting her experience as a first time mum on social media, most notably her highly popular YouTube channel. In her latest video, titled "Wholesome Sunday Vlog", Molly chatted to fans about Bambi's upcoming first birthday and her getaway to the Maldives.

some people don't like to leave their babies to cry, but right now she's more just sort of grizzling and this is her self-settling," Molly reassured her subscribers. She went on to add: "This feels really weird I'm sharing this but this is totally normal. She does this every single time I put her down, she'll roll around in her cot a little bit, she'll stand up and literally five minutes later she'll fall asleep." 11 month old Bambi soon settled, but Molly admitted it "sounds horrible" but it's been working for her daughter.
"It sounds horrible," continued Molly. "No one wants to leave their baby to cry, but sometimes you have to because now she's basically asleep.
That's just how it works for us, personally." Molly's new insight into her parenting methods comes after she was mum-shamed while enjoying a family getaway to Dubai with Tommy and Bambi.
