Molly-Mae Hague 'convinced' she couldn't have children and was 'shocked' to fall pregnant

Molly-Mae Hague has admitted she thought she couldn’t have children as she didn’t fall pregnant despite having unprotected sex for three years. The PrettyLittleThing creative director, 23, is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tommy Fury, also 23. Molly and Tommy first met on the 2019 series of Love Island, where they instantly fell head-over-heels for each other and whose relationship has gone from strength to strength since.
The young couple are now preparing to welcome a baby girl together, with Molly teasing a ‘really unusual’ name that people will ‘either love or hate’. In a Q&A with fans where she spoke about everything from her future baby’s name to whether the baby had been planned, Mollyanswered openly. She explained that she had not been on contraception throughout her and Tommy’s relationship, partly due to suffering from endometriosis and not finding a contraceptive method that suited her body.
Another reason, however, was that she and Tommy were open to having children together ‘literally from day one of meeting each other. ’‘We were very comfortable with the idea of me not being on contraception and potentially having a baby because of that,’ she said on the video. ‘We were very comfortable and I was quite surprised it hadn’t happened sooner.
’Molly recalled she was ‘quite shocked’ when she found out she was pregnant as ‘I had convinced myself that I couldn’t have children because… we had been having unprotected sex for that whole time and it had never happened. ’She told followers that their baby ‘wasn’t specifically planned but she wasn’t not planned,’ adding a reminder that having unprotected sex can always lead to pregnancy.
