Anyone who’s been missing a night out at Livingston’s Club Earth are being invited to get together to remember the old times.
Arguable one of West Lothian’s best known nightclubs, the venue was demolished earlier this year to make way for a new nursing home.
The famous building has been home to many clubs over the years, known in the past as Melvilles and Zen, and its demise led to an outpouring of tributes from many who had spent many a weekend there.
And this has prompted the organisers of the club’s backyard Social event to try and bring back the memories with a special Reunion Brunch Club at Deer Park in Livingston.
Organiser Darren Laurie explained: “The demolition of the famous building that housed Club Earth inspired literally thousands of memories across loads of generations on every social media platform dating back to the early 80’s.
“The last custodians of the place which included the massively popular Backyard Social that traded through covid have decided to hold some special Brunch events at the newly refurbished Deer Park Golf and Country Club.”
The first event will be held on Sunday May, ensuring a welcome day off with the Monday Bank Holiday the day after.
Doors open at 1pm and the line up for the brunch is: DJ Paul Njie who last week supported De la Soul and is the main RnB spinner at the Radisson Red in Glasgow, DJ Justin James - Club Earth’s longest running resident DJs, Trav Saxingh Scotland’s premier sax player, Jane Henderson, one of the nation’s foremost vocalists singing along to a host of club classics plus the Brunch Society dancers.
Tickets are priced at £36.50 which drinks on arrival, a selection of main course meals plus one bottle of premium prosecco per every two people.
