Miriam O’Callaghan to replace Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show this week

The Late Late Show With James Corden is returning to television amid the global health crisis.

Ryan Tubridy is back tomorrow night to host the Late Late Show.

It has been an odd couple of weeks watching the Late Late Show without Ryan Tubridy and even though Miriam O’Callaghan was a great replacement, we’re happy to see Ryan back.

It might be surprising for some and not so much for others to hear that of all TV and Radio shows in Ireland, The Late Late Show was the most complained about.

For the past 58 years, The Late Late Show has been presented by men – Gay Byrne, Pat Kenny and Ryan Tubridy.

Miriam O’Callaghan will present the Late Late Show for the second week in a row as Ryan Tubridy remains at home to recuperate from COVID-19.

The show, which Corden is hosting from his garage, will feature musical performances from Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, BTS, John Legend, Dua Lipa, and Andrea Bocelli. He'll also speak to Will Ferrell, David Blaine, and more — all from the safety of their homes.

History was made this week as a woman presented the Late Late Show on RTE for the first time in its 58-year history.
