Miriam O’Callaghan is set to present the Late Late Show this Friday night as a last-minute replacement for Ryan Tubridy.
RTE confirmed this morning that Ryan will be unable to present the show after revealing he had a ‘persistent cough’ earlier in the week.
The presenter also missed out on his weekday radio show on RTE One, with Oliver Callaghan stepping in as his replacement on air.
In a statement, RTE said: ‘Due to a persistent cough, Ryan is adhering to best practice and staying away.’
