wrapped up season 2 with a shocking finale that saw the demise of several major characters, including teenage drug dealer Ashtray (Javon Walton). The 15-year-old star, who has played Fezco’s (Angus Cloud) younger adopted brother since season 1, opens up to ET’s Denny Directo about the bloody end to his story, who originally was supposed to die, his feelings about the Fexi romance and beating up co-star Eric Dane earlier in the season. While most of characters were still reeling from Lexi’s (Maude Apatow) play, one person missing from the audience was Fez.

How Labrinth scored Euphoria’s second season on pure instinct

As viewers say goodbye to the hit HBO series Euphoria for another long stretch of time, only some of the show’s loose ends have been not-so-neatly tied. Without spoiling the finale, the show does answer some obvious questions: What psychotic retaliation does Nate Jacobs whip up post-Lexi Howard’s pointed theatrical debut? Does this final episode make for the worst day in Fezco Hive history? Does Cassie take a shot at backing up her bold claim that she’s crazier than Maddy? But it won’t be until season three airs in 2024 that the other standout questions – including the ones about a certain suspicious drug dealer with an unsettlingly calm demeanor – get answers.

'Euphoria' Cast on the Season 2 Finale: 'It Feels Like the End of Days' (Exclusive)

season 2 has come to a close. But not before the cast opened up to ET about the unexpected ending, which “feels like the end of days,” Jacob Elordi said. “It’s madness.”The finale, “All My Life, My Heart Has Yearned for a Thing I Cannot Name” written and directed by creator Sam Levinson, picked up immediately following episode 7’s cliffhanger, which saw Maddy (Alexa Demie), Jules (Hunter Schafer), Kat (Barbie Ferreira) and a recently sober Rue (Zendaya) all having various, bemused reactions to Lexi’s (Maude Apatow) provocative play while Nate (Elordi) walked out and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) was left fuming. Not only that, but one seat in the audience remained empty as Fezco’s (Angus Cloud) whereabouts remained unclear. The missing half of Fexi was last seen getting ready at his apartment where there was mounting tension between Ashtray (Javon Walton), Faye (Chloe Cherry) and Custer (Tyler Chase), who was wearing a wire in hopes of narcing on Fez. The episode opens with Fez letting Lexi know that he’s on his way to the play when Custer wants to talk to him “about everything.” Luckily, Faye turns on her boyfriend and warns Fez not to reveal anything while also trying to frame Laurie (Martha Kelly), the drug dealer that almost kidnapped Rue at one point.

‘Euphoria' star Minka Kelly, like Sydney Sweeney, pushed back against nude scenes: 'We can keep my dress on'

Like her co-star Sydney Sweeney, Minka Kelly didn’t think twice about setting boundaries while on the set of "Euphoria." The actress recently recalled how her character Samantha hired Maddy (Alexa Demie) as a babysitter and then has the teen unzip her dress in the second season episode, which aired in January. According to the 41-year-old, creator Sam Levinson originally wrote a more risqué scene than the one viewers saw. "[Levinson] thought it would be more interesting if my dress fell to the ground," Kelly told Vanity Fair.

Euphoria star Minka Kelly has revealed she pushed back against a nude scene that was planned for her character Samantha. The actress’ character hired Maddy (Alexa Demie) as a babysitter for her child as part of the ongoing second season, and has appeared in a number of episodes. However, Kelly explained in a new interview that her character description was “actually so vague” when she initially signed on for the role, before her part was expanded, with creator Sam Levinson rewriting elements on the go.“That can be frustrating and can throw some people off, but I actually trust and feel safe with a director who’s not afraid to change his mind,” she told Vanity Fair. “At the end of the day, the goal is what ends up onscreen.

‘Euphoria’ Stars Maude Apatow and Austin Abrams Explain That Epic Dance Number

Mónica Marie Zorrilla Lexi Howard, indisputably one of the most underrated and underutilized characters in Sam Levinson’s glitter-and-grit-infused teenage fever dream “Euphoria,” has finally been given more purpose than being the preppy-in-plaid sidekick to her sister Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and best friend(ish) Rue (Zendaya) in Season 2. Fans of Lexi, portrayed by Maude Apatow, have gotten to see the character not only open up a potential romantic relationship with other fan-favorite Fezco (Angus Cloud) but also work on her high school theater magnum opus, a play about always being the ancillary character and never in the spotlight — not even in your own life.In Episode 7 of the show’s second season, entitled “The Theater and Its Double,” viewers are given a glimpse into Lexi’s complex relationship with the young women around her, her father, her mother and herself.

Minka Kelly Talks Adulting on ‘Euphoria’ After Being a Teen Queen on ‘Friday Night Lights’

Mónica Marie Zorrilla SPOILER ALERT: Do not read if you have not watched Season 2 of “Euphoria” on HBO. Lyla Garrity, the bubbly, spoiled country princess of “Friday Night Lights” iconically portrayed by Minka Kelly, had a thing for football jocks and hyping them up on the field, but that’s just about where the superficial similarities between Lyla and “Euphoria’s” Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie) — TV’s latest teen queen bee — end. Garrity was a cotton-candy angel compared to Perez’s sour and smart-mouthed demeanor.
