Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have headed to sunny Sydney together, as Michelle prepares to start filming the new series of Ten Pound Poms. The pair, who have recently launched their new sportswear brand Aytee7, took to Instagram to reveal that they’d escaped the gloomy British weather and headed to the Australian city of Sydney on Sunday, 17 March, with Mark heading to the golf course just six hours after landing. In a video posted to his Instagram story, the 37 year old former TOWIE star could be seen playing a game of golf as he said: “1.30am landed in Sydney, what’s it now? 7.55am.
Three hours kip.
Straight on the course, straight down the farewell. Farewell? Fairway.
That’s how tired I am.” Michelle, 36, meanwhile posted a series of snaps on her main feed alongside the caption: “Bank to the land down under”. But at some point, Mark will return home to Blightly, to leave the Fool Me Once star to her latest telly job.
And it can't always be easy. Having been married for nearly 10 years, the couple have previously opened up about how their busy schedules can be “really tough” as it means that they have to spend time away from one another. “People said how did you deal with it and stuff.
Thank God for FaceTime and things like that,” former Coronation Street star Michelle said on an episode of The Jonathan Ross Show.
“You’re on a countdown the whole time to just get home. I had six months off when I went home, so I went to America.” As a result, travelling together where they can is key. “I think just being friends and having that relationship, I think we are really lucky where if I go up north, he comes with me if he can and same when I go down south,” she told Fearne Cotton's Happy Place podcast.“We are based down south
