Michael van Gerwen and Luke Humphries were caught on camera singing the praises of young darts prodigy Luke Littler during his Premier League Darts quarter-final clash with Rob Aspinall.
The 17-year-old sensation impressed the duo as he wrapped up a 6-5 win to book himself a place in the semi-finals. As he checked out a double 20 to go 4-3 up over Aspinall, Littler left Van Gerwen and Humphries in awe of his composure. While throwing a few practice darts behind the scenes at the P&J Live venue in Aberdeen, the Dutchman commented: "What a dart... under pressure."
Then, Humphries added: "He's so good under pressure." Littler has earned himself a reputation for his excellent ability to keep his composure in high-pressure situations despite being so inexperienced – so much so that he's begun dishing out taunts to the crowds.
