A local Greek bar owner has spoken after a body was found during the search for the missing television doctor Michael Mosley.
The 67-year-old celebrity had last been seen by his companions at Agios Nikolaos beach on Wednesday, before he set off for a stroll towards the island's centre. The yet-to-be-identified body was located under a fence encircling a bar at Agia Marina beach, an area characterised by its rugged, hilly landscape that slopes down to the waterfront.
According to bar staff, helicopters have been scouring the region "every day". Ilias Tsavaris, 38, the manager of the Agia Marina bar, was one of the first to spot the body, alongside reporters, after something caught the eye of the local mayor near the bar's fence, prompting him to inform the employees.

Mr Tsavaris recounted: "They saw it with the boat. The mayor came and saw something so that is when they called me and said 'Hey they saw something go and check there'."
He continued: "They called me, they said 'You know what we saw something from far away, can you go and check' so I went there.", reports the Mirror.
Describing the grim discovery, he added: "So when I walked up I saw something like a body to make sure. You don't see a dead body everyday, it is not a warzone, it's summer you are supposed to have fun and swimming."
Tsavaris also noted that the deceased had arrived from Pedi and did not pass through the restaurant area, saying, "He came from Pedi OK, and he walked not through the restaurant. If he had walked through there (the bar) we would have checked the cameras."
He confirmed that "rescuers had searched that area everyday with helicopters".
