Forecasters have issued a warning for snow and 'temporary blizzard-like conditions' in parts of Falkirk on Boxing Day.
The Yellow 'be aware' alert comes into force from just after midnight on Sunday and lasts until midday.
It's not known how much snow will fall, with weather experts saying that people should stay tuned to the forecast over the next few days as details could change.
There is a chance of travel disruption though.
