Storm Evert is set to bring heavy wind and rain to parts of southern England today as it sweeps across the UK.
The Met Office announced that the storm has been officially named by meteorologists this morning.
Forecasters said people living in parts of the southwest can expect “unseasonably strong winds and heavy rain”.
