The interview, to air on Sept. 14, is notable given their past history: When she was Fox News and co-moderated the first presidential debate in 2015, Trump eventually went on the attack against over the questions she asked him about his past treatment of women. Trump eventually did a sit down interview with Kelly later in the cycle.

Over the past two years, Kelly has interviewed such candidates as Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy, as well as Chris Christie and Nikki Haley.
The details of her new multi-year deal were not disclosed, but she will continue on the platform through the 2024 election season and after that point. The show is produced in collaboration with Red Seat Ventures.
