In a report by BBC, Daniel Portley-Hanks, who is now a retired private investigator out of Los Angeles, claimed that he was hired by The Sun to obtain private information about the Duchess.
Daniel claims he unlawfully accessed detailed information including Meghan's social security number.
He told the BBC: “Pretty much everything I found out they could find out themselves using legal means – with the exception of the social security numbers.”
