Meghan Markle reveals her one regret about joining the royal family

After Meghan Markle won her legal battle against a British tabloid, Associated Newspapers she was awarded a huge sum of USD 625,000. The Duchess of Sussex had sued the newspaper for invasion of privacy and copyright infringement over 5 articles published in The Mail on Sunday and MailOnline which featured sections of a private letter from her father Thomas Markle after she tied the knot with Prince Harry.

British newspaper the Mail on Sunday doesn’t have to run a front-page statement about the Duchess of Sussex’s legal victory until it has had the chance to challenge the order, a judge ruled Monday.

Meghan Markle and her mum Doria Ragland were reportedly banned by the Royal Family from going out to get coffee during her UK visit in summer 2019. It's been claimed that in the course of their time at Frogmore Cottage, 39 year old Meghan and her mum, 64, were not allowed to go into Windsor to buy coffee for themselves.

It has been over a year since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped back as senior working members of the royal family. While the royal family have stated that the couple won't be returning, Meghan recently remembered her last working days as a royal.

Thomas Markle made an appearance on the March 9 episode of Good Morning Britain, where he shared his reaction to the bombshell interview featuring his daughter, Meghan Markle, and son-in-law, Prince Harry, speaking with Oprah Winfrey about their experience as members of the Royal Family. Thomas, 76, confessed that he was “very disappointed” by the interview. “I’ve apologized for this thing, what happened, at least a hundred times, or so,” he said, referencing his collaboration with tabloids.
