The wife of Prince William has been forced to step up her time as a representative of the royal family now that Markle and Harry have successfully stepped back from their senior duties in order to live financially independent of the monarchy in Los Angeles.

It was reported recently that the couple, who relocated to Los Angeles when they stepped down from senior royal duties, have been staying in the Tuscan-style villa that is worth £14.7m ($18m).

Julie Montagu, an American who became Viscountess Hinchingbrooke when she married into British aristocracy, isn’t surprised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took a "step back" as senior royals. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently residing in Markle’s native Los Angeles with their son Archie, 1.

It’s no secret that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have good taste. Well, now we know that their mystery mansion in Los Angeles certainly lives up. This is because the two of them are currently living at a luxurious mansion owned by none other than one of Hollywood’s most famous actor’s Tyler Perry. This place is worth USD 18 million and is situated at a hilltop in Beverly Hills.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are ushering in their son Archie’s first birthday in traditional yet unconventional style amid the coronavirus pandemic. For starters, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated the occasion on Wednesday at their Los Angeles residence that they currently call home, as California's stay-at-home orders are still in place.The parents reportedly are giving baby Archie a “smash cake” to enjoy, as well as video-chatting with close friends and family.

Archie is celebrating his birthday in The Golden State. In honor of his first birthday on May 6, his parents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have released a new video of their son commemorating the big day.
