In the teaser Meghan can be seen telling the US talk show host that she cannot be “silent” if The Firm is “perpetuating falsehoods”.

ITV has confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Oprah interview will air on Monday 8 March.The anticipated tell-all two hour interview airs on CBS in the US on Sunday. It will be shown here in the UK by ITV on Monday between 9pm and 11pm.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new baby will have quite a different introduction to the world compared to their first child, Archie. He or she will be only the second royal baby to be born in the US (after Maud Windsor, who is 51st in line to the throne), and their parents are embracing all that it entails.

All eyes will be on Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in early March as the couple give their first sit down interview since leaving their working royal roles.
