Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released a precious photograph of their daughter Lilibet to celebrate her first birthday.The new image was taken at Frogmore Cottage and showed Lilibet, who turned one on 4 June, smiling in the sunshine.Their little girl was seen in a pale blue smock dress with her strawberry-blonde hair tied back with a white bow. Meghan reportedly chose California-based designer Isabel Garretón to design the frock – whose company of more than 30 years went out of business earlier this year – as her brand has previously pledged to “support the advancement of underprivileged women” and help break “the cycle of poverty”.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry enjoyed a double celebration this weekend as alongside the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee the parents were also celebrating the first birthday of their daughter Lilibet. The youngster, who herself is named after the Queen, celebrated in style on Saturday alongside her parents and big brother Archie, with the couple choosing to skip a day of Jubilee celebrations in order to spend time with the tot on her special day.
Alongside her family, a source close to the couple told The Sun that the youngster would be receiving plenty of gifts to mark the milestone occasion - including one particular standout piece, a pink toy car. They said: “As her first birthday is such a milestone, there was lots of discussion ahead of time about the presents that she would be given on the day.

The car also includes a turning steering wheel complete with horn, sounds and lights - with the company describing the humanised design as being ‘baby comfortable’ for even the most pint sized of drivers.
Although the party was low-key, it was held at the couple’s former home in Frogmore Cottage, Windsor, where the young family had lived before emigrating to the United States.
