Megan Barton-Hanson has revealed she reached out to Sarah Jayne Dunn after her Hollyoaks contract was terminated due to the star launching an OnlyFans page. Sarah, 40, was on the show for over two decades, but her time on Hollyoaks came to an abrupt end last year in the wake of her decision to keep her account, despite her having "approval" from Channel 4.
Previously speaking about the ordeal, Sarah told OK! that it was a "huge shock" after playing the role of Mandy Richardson on the programme for 25 years. Now, former Love Islander Megan has weighed in on what happened during an exclusive interview with OK! Online about her involvement in Boots' wellness podcast Taboo Talk, which is hosted by Vogue Williams.

"I just offered my support because I get it and I think anyone who has worked in the sex industry from anything from glamour modelling to stripping to a webcam model, we've all experienced it in one way or another. That judgement." She continued: "But to get fired from your work – it was mad and mind blowing and it really shows us how far we still have to come.
I'm glad she stuck to her guns but it's definitely disappointing." Attempting to recall her own experience of ever being snubbed from a job due to her own OnlyFans account, Megan said she sometimes questions whether TV bosses neglect asking her to take part in a show because of her work. "I always have suspicions with certain TV channels or certain shows and I wonder if I haven't been asked to do that
