Meet Quinn, the first trans athlete to win an Olympic gold

Kendall Jenner won‘t be able to experience, it’s competing in the Olympics- unless they make walking the runway a sport. Nevertheless, it doesn’t really matter because she has an Olympic gold medal she can play with any time, her boyfriend Davin Booker’s. The 24-year-old basketball star is back in the United States after Team USA took home the gold at the Tokyo Olympics.

Megan Rapinoe, 36, and Sue Bird, 40, showed off their love during the final day of the Tokyo Olympics on Aug. 7. The engaged lovebirds shared a kiss after Sue won her fifth Olympic gold medal with Team USA during a basketball game against Japan and excitingly ran up to her fiancée in the stands. Megan sweetly held Sue’s face as she smiled to her in the glorious moment and they both embraced as onlookers cheered.

The doting girlfriend, who just celebrated her one-year anniversary with the basketball player in June, shared a photo of him standing on the basketball court on her TV screen and added a gold medal emoji to it.

For the first time ever in the history of the Olympic Games, Quinn, a transgender and  non-binary athlete, has won a gold medal. Quinn has become the only such athlete to ever take home any medal in the Games.  Quinn, 25, was part of the Canadian women’s football team, that beat Sweden 3-2 in the women’s football final to take gold on Friday night. Quinn, a midfielder, was also part of the bronze medal winning Canadian  team at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

As the 2020 Olympics start to wind down, more athletes are awarded with shiny gold, silver and bronze medals and fans might be wondering just how much they make from their wins.
