Prepare to see a lot more of Rob Lowe yee-hawing in a Texas firehouse because 9-1-1: Lone Star has just been renewed for Season 2 at Fox. The 9-1-1 spin-off, which debuted this winter and could be the start of the franchise's so-called "Dick Wolf phase," will continue to bring us new adventures from Station 126 in Austin.

Fox has renewed both of the 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star for additional seasons.

Could we be getting Ryan Murphy's take on Joe Exotic and the events in Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness? After posting photos of himself as Joe Exotic, Rob Lowe updated his Instagram caption to say he and Murphy are in discussions to take on the infamous big cat owner who is now imprisoned on charges stemming from a murder-for-hire plot with Carole Baskin as the target.

Robe Lowe came up with a creative way to deal with his quarantine boredom, and it involves one glorious blonde mullet. The 9-1-1: Lone Star lead, 56, treated his fans to a hilarious backyard photoshoot that showed him as infamous cat lover and hair bleach enthusiast Joe Exotic, the subject of Netflix’s Tiger King, and he pulls off the ensemble pretty well.

Broadway star Nick Cordero was hospitalized in the ICU at Cedars-Sinai Hospital earlier this week due to coronavirus-like symptoms. He was unconscious and placed on a ventilator as he battled for his life.
