The Mean Girls musical movie will be coming the a theater near you instead of premiering on Paramount+ as initially planned. How grool is that?!
The musical retelling of the hit movie stars Renee Rapp as Regina George, the ruler of the popular group known as the Plastics, and Angourie Rice as Cady Heron, who was once played by Lindsay Lohan.
Deadline confirmed that the movie was getting a theatrical release and revealed a premiere date.

According to the outlet, the musical movie is set to hit theaters on January 12, 2024. The change to a theaters is a promotional campaign that worked well for the horror movie Smile last year, which dominated box offices after getting moved off Paramount+.
