McDonald's has announced that restaurants in Scotland, and across the UK and Ireland, will shut from 11pm tonight for takeaway as well as dine-in. The fast-food giant took to its social media accounts to make the announcement saying restaurants will stay closed "while we review and verify any additional enhanced safety measures for these services".
