Harry Styles has announced that he and promoter Live Nation will be donating over $1 million in proceeds from his upcoming North American tour to the Support Fund of Everytown For Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention organisation in the US.This follows the horrific events in Uvalde, Texas last week, where nineteen children and two teachers were killed in a shooting at Robb Elementary School. Styles and Live Nation announced the charitable donation to the education, research, and litigation arm of Everytown For Gun Safety this weekend.Confirming that support, Styles said: “Along with all of you, I have been absolutely devastated by the recent string of mass shootings in America, culminating at Robb Elementary School in Texas.

Joe Otterson TV ReporterOmar Sy has signed a first-look television deal with HBO Max.Under the deal, the French actor and producer will develop series for the streamer for multiple markets around the globe.“I am very happy to be partnering with HBO Max who share my dreams of developing globally appealing content for audiences around the world, including French speaking Africa, France and the United States,” Sy said.Sy broke out with his starring role in the French film “The Intouchables,” for which he earned a César for best actor. He was the first Black actor to win the award.

American Horror Story spin-off series American Horror Stories‘ second season has landed a release date for this summer.The FX on Hulu series made its debut last year, and follows the anthology format of the original show, though this time each episode tells a different story rather than a whole season.The show has now been confirmed to return on Thursday, July 21 for its next batch of episodes, according to TheWrap.American Horror Stories brings over a number of cast members from the original show, including Matt Bomer, Celia Finkelstein, Naomi Grossman, John Carroll Lynch, Charles Melton and Billie Lourd.In NME‘s two-star review of the show’s first season, we wrote: “All the teenage characters speak in ‘90s Scream-style film literate discussions about the gimmicks of horror director William Castle et al, and there’s a cute nod to Tipper Gore’s ’80s censorship campaign.“That said, it turns into a straightforward zombie escape film with a clunky script. Gorillaz have announced details of a North American tour in September and October.These gigs will be the Damon Albarn-led group’s first US and Canadian live dates since 2018 and extends their ongoing world tour, which is currently in South America.Albarn and his 14-piece live band – who will be “aided and abetted by a varying cast of guest performers” – will bring Gorillaz to life across 21 arena shows in the US and Canada, kicking off in Vancouver on September 11.The run will visit such cities as Seattle, Salt Lake City, LA, Austin, Chicago and Boston before wrapping up in Miami on October 23. Jack Harlow has announced an arena tour of North America in support of his second studio album, ‘Come Home The Kids Miss You’.The tour, announced today (May 10), will start in Nashville at the city’s Municipal Auditorium.
