Masterpiece on PBS has revealed the premiere date for MaryLand, its three-part miniseries that stars Eve Best (House of the Dragon), Suranne Jones (Gentleman Jack) and Stockard Channing (The West Wing).
The drama that first bowed in the UK will premiere April 7 at 9 p.m. ET. It follows two estranged sisters who are brought together over the death of their mother, Maryland. They learn she had been living a secret life on the Isle of Man, far from the home she shared with her husband and father of their two daughters.
“MaryLand is an emotional journey of two estranged sisters who are determined to find the truth about their mother,” said Masterpiece EP Susanne Simpson. “Suranne Jones and Eve Best deliver stunning performances in this wonderful show.”
MaryLand is a co-production of Monumental TV, TeamAkers Prods, ShinAwiL, and Masterpiece in association with ITV Studios.

Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large Fox will utilize its NFL doubleheader on Sunday, January 7, to help launch the network’s latest animated comedy, “Grimsburg.” The show, starring Jon Hamm (who also executive produces), will air immediately following the second game in all time zones. The scheduling strategy was set to be announced on Saturday at the New York Comic-Con, where Fox is holding panels for both “Grimsburg” and its most recent new animated comedy, the Dan Harmon-created “Krapopolis.” At the event, “Grimsburg” showrunner Chadd Gindin planned to discuss his new series and introduce an early screening of the show’s first episode. Both “Grimsburg” and “Krapopolis” are produced by Bento Box and are wholly owned by Fox.
