Greggs fans, it's time to get excited, as a Martin Lewis money-saving expert has shared how you can snap up one of their beloved pastries - including a sausage roll - completely free of charge.
The expert revealed in the latest MSE weekly newsletter that devoted fans of the bakery chain can grab a free sausage roll, steak bake, or hot drink in one simple step. All you need to do is simply sign up to the Greggs app before January 2, 2023, where you can grab some of the bakery chain's most beloved items without paying a penny.
Once signed up, members will then be offered a free steak bake, cheese and onion bake and vegan sausage roll, all which cost anywhere between £1-£2. New sign-ups will also be offered the ongoing 'free hot drink' offer that can also see them grab a seasonal pumpkin spice latte, tea or coffee.
Customers looking to take advantage of the freebies can download the Greggs app from Google Play or the App store, and then scanning it at their local branch.
Once downloaded and signed up, you will have 31 days from when you signed up to redeem the offer.
With food prices consistently rising, including the cost of Greggs sausage rolls, it is worth taking advantage of the deal, as it could save you up to £4.
The freebie comes just after the popular bakery chain recently confirmed that they hiked the price of their beloved sausage rolls, which are now up to £1.15 from £1.10. It was the second time this year that the firm had to increase the prices, following the soaring cost of ingredients, energy and inflation.
