Married At First Sight UK fans have been left appalled by Whitney Hughes' "disrespectful" behaviour towards Duka Chav, with many fans threatening to call Ofcom over scenes aired. During the first episode of the new season, viewers saw Whitney and Duka tie the knot in front of their nearest and dearest, but things soon took a turn for the worse between them as 31 year old Whitney confessed he wasn't the man she was expecting at the altar and compared him to a shed. She also threatened to pull out of the wedding at the altar and was later also seen mocking her new husband's Yugoslavian name.
In the latest episode of the show, Whitney accused Duka, 31, of being "fake" and putting on an "act" while Duka told viewers that his new wife was "caring". But the pair clashed as she confessed that she lost her wedding ring while on a safari. Fans have since flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on the couple's interactions as one person said: “Why go on the show and not give it 100%? Duka doesn’t deserve this.
Uncomfortable to watch @Ofcom.” A second agreed, sharing: "The casual xenophobia of not bothering to remember Duka’s name. And tittering with her mate about ‘funny’, belittling versions of it. Can somebody call Ofcom?” followed by an angry emoji.
Another said producers should simply remove her from the show as they wrote: "Experts should be able to remove participants like Whitney. She clearly doesn't want to be in the experiment. (But fully aware producers want her because she makes good TV) #MAFSUK." While a fourth person added: “Wow @Channel4 really did Duka dirty.
