Mark Wright has revealed how worried he was over his recent health scare. Doctors had to remove a lump from the former TOWIE star's armpit area in December last year and the TV presenter explained the fears he had about the tumour's removal. In an interview with The Mirror, Mark, 35, discussed his worries at the speed at which the growth formed.
When asked if he found the experience frightening, he admitted: "It was at first.They couldn’t tell me if it was a lipoma [a lump that grows under the skin]. Mark explained: "Instead of doing a biopsy, they whipped it out and then I got the results about a week later and found out it wasn’t cancer. So it was scary up until that point, then I felt so much better." The former footballer told fans just after the surgery: "it was a terribly worrying time but that's done now, it's in the past." Mark reflected in an Instagram post at the time: "Honestly, already my head is cleared.
I've had the worry and anxiety of what this is gonna be and just from staying in and recovering leaving me feeling a bit low and not very motivated. "Just a message from me to you now I've started exercising again, I just feel so much better it's cleared my head. And that is why I'm coming on here to talk to you about what is coming in 2022."
