Simon Gallup announced he’s leaving the English rock band The Cure after four decades as its bassist.  The 61-year-old musician announced the news with an incredibly brief statement shared on his Facebook Saturday.  "With a slightly heavy heart I am no longer a member of the Cure ! Good luck to them all," he wrote.  In response to a commenter asking if he was OK given the abrupt change, Gallup noted that he’s fine, "just fed up of betrayal." Unfortunately, he didn’t elaborate on the betrayal

Sony Pictures Classics has set a Nov. 19 New York and Los Angeles theatrical release for their British romantic drama Mothering Sunday.
