The funeral of RTE broadcaster Marian Finucane took place at St Brigid’s Church in Kill, Co Kildare, on Tuesday morning and mourners came in their droves to say goodbye to the icon.
Marian’s family were supported by many at the church, and her husband John Clarke spoke emotionally to the congregation about his wife.
In a devastating confession, he revealed that he and his wife had just spoken about her plans to retire in December, before her untimely death.
