After first poking fun at Carlson‘s joke, where he called her a “lunatic country music person”, the 32-year-old “Circles Around This Town” singer, she’s now planning to raise money over it.

Maren was the subject of the night on Carlson‘s Fox News show, where he interviewed Jason Aldean‘s wife, Brittany, over a transphobic joke she made and was called out by Maren, as well as Cassadee Pope earlier in the week.
Her and Brittany‘s feud started after Brittany posted a makeup video with the caption, “I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life.”
Brittany then explained her stance on transgender youth and their rights to gender-affirming care, to which Maren and Cassadee both called her out on.
Now, after Brittany‘s appearance on Carlson‘s show, Maren is using his label of her for good.
