Manchester will be home to the largest fan park in Europe for this year’s World Cup — with an enormous 6,000 PERSON venue opening up in the heart of the city.
Mayfield Depot is hosting the gargantuan ‘Road To Victory’ fan park, which will feature a multitude of screens so fans can watch the Three Lions go for glory in Qatar. The largest of the screens will be an eye-watering 140 square metres.
That’s 1,506 square feet, and will be larger than most flats in the city centre. The screens will sit alongside a ‘immersive light show’ that bosses hope will ‘add to the electric atmosphere for England’s biggest World Cup matches’.

David Norries, from AIX Live, the company behind the fan park, said: “From Europe’s largest screen down to the immense light show and our in-venue interactive experiences, Road to Victory will provide an electric atmosphere and create an exciting and immersive experience during this unique winter World Cup."
Road to Victory features three rooms, including two standing rooms, a VIP area with space for 200 guests and up to 1,800 seated in the main room at Mayfield Depot. There will also be pre and post-match entertainment with DJ’s, hosts, quizzes, special guests, and competitions.
Seating and standing packages at Road to Victory start at just £9.50, plus booking fees, with drink and food pre-order packages released soon. Tickets go on sale at 10am Friday, October 14.
