A man will appear in court today (Monday) accused of attempting to kidnap a woman in Salford.
Police were called to Park Lane, Broughton Park, shortly after 7.15pm on Saturday, following reports of an 'attempted abduction' near the Bury New Road junction.
Stephen Robert Backhouse, of Loganberry Avenue, Pendleton, has been charged with attempted kidnap.
