Cops have descended on a Glasgow street, with a block of flats sealed off after a man was stabbed.
Emergency services were scrambled to reports of a disturbance on Collins Street after being alerted at around 7.35am on Thursday, April 21.
A man in his twenties was found injured there, before he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatments to stab wounds.
Officers then swarmed a block of flats on nearby Drygate where the serious assault took place.
Multiple officers and vehicles were spotted outside the building, with a cordon in place. An area on Collins Street was also taped off.
Police confirmed they are following a number of lines of enquiry at this stage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.35am on Thursday, April 21, police were called to a report of a disturbance on Collins Street, Glasgow.
"A man in his twenties was found injured and he has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is being treated for stab wounds.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the serious assault that took place within a block of flats on Drygate.
"Officers are following a number of lines of enquiry in relation to this incident."
