A man has been taken to hospital this afternoon (November 30) following reports of an assault in Hyde.
Oldham Street was closed off after police were called to a 'disturbance'.
A man has now been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault.

Police were called to the incident shortly before 2pm.
A cordon is currently in place as officers continue to carry out enquiries.
