A walker had to be rushed to hospital after suffering from chest pains while out on the moors.
The man was on Holcombe Moor, Ramsbottom, on Friday afternoon when he fell ill, prompting calls to the emergency services.
He was in a difficult to reach area of the hills but a group from Bolton's Mountain Rescue Team was able to make their way to him.
They were joined by paramedics as well as an air ambulance and the man was quickly taken away for medical treatment.
