A man died in hospital after being found lying 'unresponsive' on a busy Glasgow street.
Emergency services scrambled to the scene on Edinburgh Road at around 10.35am this morning, June 29, after they were alerted about the incident, reports Glasgow Live.
The man was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary but could not be saved and was sadly pronounced dead.
There is no more information at this juncture on the nature of the death but Police Scotland confirmed that it is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson from the force said: “Around 10.35am on Saturday, June 29, 2024, we were called to a report of a man found unresponsive in Edinburgh Road, Glasgow.
"A report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
