A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he was attacked in the street in Wythenshawe.
Police closed off Wythenshawe Road after the assault at around 6pm on Thursday, June 4.
The injured man was taken to hospital.
Police have described his injuries as life-threatening.
It is believed the victim, a man in his 20s, was assaulted by two men.
