A man tragically lost his life after being punched outside a social club in Leigh.
Paul Ologbose, 57, whose identity was revealed this evening, was handed the blow in an altercation in the early hours of this morning, January 23.
Shortly after, he was rushed to hospital by paramedics with a critical head injury, but passed away later this afternoon.
The victim was punched once to the head in the altercation at around 1.55 am.

A man in his 40s was taken to custody by officers at the scene and has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.
He remains in custody at this time, police have said.
Paul's family are said to be receiving specialist support from dedicated officers following his death.
Detectives are pursuing several lines of investigation - including speaking to those at the social club, which is on Kensington Drive, and reviewing any CCTV in the surrounding area.

Detective Superintendent Rebecca Boyce, of GMP's Wigan district, said: "A man has horrendously lost his life after suffering a serious head injury that we believe was sustained from one punch during an altercation on a night out.
"It's a shocking and distressing time for Paul's family and we will do what we can to support them through our ongoing investigation.
