A man who committed an indecent act as he sat next to a young boy on a train has been convicted.
Kevin Whittam, 59, denied a charge of outraging public decency, but was found guilty by magistrates after a trial.
He was subsequently sentenced, British Transport Police said.
The force said Whittam, of Hallstead Grove, Little Hulton, Salford, boarded a train at Lancaster railway station on October 10, 2019.
