Manchester City expect to sell midfielder Yangel Herrera and are open to defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis leaving as part of their summer transfer plans.
The club are hopeful that they could get as much as £20million for Herrera — despite the fact the 24-year-old midfielder has not played a single minute for them since signing in 2017. After establishing himself at sister club New York City FC, the Venezuelan enjoyed a spell at Granada for two seasons that included a run to the Europa League quarter-finals last season.
While Herrera does not feature in Pep Guardiola's plans for next season, City believe there is serious interest in the player from clubs in more than one league and have had success getting considerable fees in similar circumstances for signings in recent years, including Douglas Luiz and Jack Harrison.

City are also open to the right offer for 20-year-old Harwood-Bellis following enquiries from a number of Premier League clubs. The England Under-21 star came through the academy and made his first-team debut in September 2019, and had a bright start on loan at Anderlecht this season but switched to Stoke for the second half of the campaign.
Tommy Doyle, a teammate of Harwood-Bellis with City and England, is likely to stay in the Championship next season on loan. The tenacious midfielder has revitalised his campaign at Cardiff, although would be looking for a team likely to challenge for promotion.
Ko Itakura is another never to have played for City that the club could make a profit on. The 25-year-old defender has been central to Schalke's season on loan and the Bundesliga club have the option to buy him at the end of the
