Man charged after attempted rape in Bolton town centre

 A Wisconsin man charged in a plot to kidnap Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has been released from jail after posting a $10,000 cash bail.

Leigh.Police were called at about 2.20am on Monday (October 19) to reports of a break-in on Warwick Street.The woman suffered serious cuts to her hands and was taken to hospital for treatment. She has since been discharged.Dale Bailey, 25, of Balmoral Drive, Leigh, has since been charged with aggravated burglary in connection with the incident.

A White man in Michigan was charged with a federal hate crime Tuesday after allegedly attacking a Black teenager at a park over the summer, hitting him in the face with a metal bike lock. Lee James Mouat, 42, allegedly approached a group of Black teenagers on June 6 and repeatedly used racial slurs, telling them they had no right to use the public beach at Sterling State Park, about 38 miles south of Detroit, according to the complaint filed in the U.S.

A 24-year-old Connecticut woman faces charges of abandonment after police said they located an 8-month-old girl in a dumpster outside an apartment,  a report said. Fox 61 reported on Monday that the baby was found by a maintenance worker at the building in Newhallville, which is a neighborhood in New Haven.The baby was taken to Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and reportedly listed in stable condition.The New Haven Register reported that the baby had burns on her hands.

Police Scotland has confirmed the trio, aged 22, 26 and 28, were arrested on Tuesday night in the upmarket Glasgow suburb of Newton Mearns. They were detained after a Ford Fiesta was stopped in the suburb's Netherton Road at around 10.55pm on September 29.
